Envato has permanently disabled our author account, making it impossible for us to validate licenses issued through their platform. This statement explains what happened and what it means for existing customers.
On April 17, 2026, Envato permanently disabled our author account. This statement explains what led to this action, what it means technically, and what options are available to affected customers.
If you are not familiar with the background, please read our original statement published on March 26, 2026 first.
Following our March 26 statement, Envato contacted us with two claims:
Unusual payment activity. Envato alleged that our account had been involved in self-purchasing. This claim is without basis. We confirmed that we do not engage in self-purchasing or any prohibited payment activity.
Ceasing updates to the item. Envato objected to our informing customers that we would no longer upload updates through their platform, characterizing it as a policy violation. We responded that we had not linked to any competing purchase channel — we published a factual statement explaining our position, which is accurate and does not solicit purchases through any external channel.
Envato then asked whether we would like them to soft-disable the item listing — meaning the item would be removed from sale while existing customers retained download access. We informed them we had no such request. Our expectation at that point was that the item listing might be soft-disabled, but that our account would remain active. Account suspension was never raised or discussed in that exchange.
Without further notice, Envato soft-disabled the item listing. Shortly afterward, they permanently disabled our author account entirely.
This is the key point for existing customers: Aikeedo can no longer validate licenses issued through Envato.
License validation requires an active connection to the issuing platform's API. Envato's account suspension revokes that access. This is not a policy decision on our part — it is a technical consequence of Envato's own action. There is no workaround. We have no record of individual license keys issued by Envato, as those are generated and held exclusively by their platform.
To be direct: Envato sold licenses to their customers and then took action that made those licenses non-functional. We had no part in that decision.
We responded to each of Envato's points directly and in good faith. We did not engage in prohibited activity. We did not link to competing purchase channels. We declined requests we were not contractually obligated to fulfill. Envato chose to escalate regardless.
We have no further ability to engage with Envato's internal processes. Our focus is on ensuring that affected customers have a clear path forward.
If you purchased Aikeedo through Envato and your license is no longer validating, this is a direct consequence of Envato's account suspension — not a change we made.

Your purchase agreement is with Envato. You paid a Buyer Fee to Envato as part of your transaction — that fee exists specifically to cover buyer support. You are entitled to raise this issue directly with Envato support and, if applicable, request a refund under their customer refund policy.
The responsibility for this situation rests with Envato. Resolution of their obligations to their customers is Envato's responsibility.
