🚀 Aikeedo v5.2 is now available!

A payment gateway is the service that securely takes a customer’s card or wallet payment online and passes it to the banks for approval, such as Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay.

At checkout, the gateway collects payment details, runs fraud and authentication checks, and gets an approval or decline from the card network and the customer’s bank. Funds then settle to your account.

Global gateways such as Stripe and PayPal cover most countries, but local methods win in many markets: UPI in India, mobile money in Africa, Pix in Brazil, e-wallets in South-East Asia.

For subscriptions, the gateway also stores the payment method and charges it each period, and notifies your app of renewals and failures through webhooks.

Payment gateway in Aikeedo

Aikeedo supports Stripe and PayPal plus regional gateways such as Razorpay, Paystack, Mercado Pago, Xendit and crypto, with payments going to your own accounts.
