Queue Adapters

Queue Adapters moves Aikeedo's background jobs out of your database and into a dedicated queue service. Invoicing, emails, notifications and scheduled tasks then run from Redis, Amazon SQS, Azure Queue Storage or Cloudflare Queues, which suits busy sites and setups with several servers.

Key features:

• Four queue services: Redis (including hosted Redis such as Upstash), Amazon SQS, Azure Queue Storage and Cloudflare Queues
• Connection check on save: with an adapter switched on, saving tests the connection first and explains what the service refused, so a broken setting is never saved
• Switch in one place: choose the adapter under Settings → System → Queue; running background workers restart on their own
• Works with cron or a worker: cron works the queue with any adapter, so a separate worker is optional
• Independent settings: each service has its own admin screen for its connection details and keys
